Trail Workshop, Taiwan
Building on the success of our previous sustainable trail workshops in Singapore and Hong Kong, we are thrilled to introduce our inaugural sustainable mountain biking trail workshop in Taiwan.
In collaboration with the Taiwan Mountain Bike Association and Simple Gravity Adventures, this two-day workshop will delve into the critical aspects of sustainable mountain biking trails and their impact on both the industry and local communities.
Agenda
- Drawing from a range of experiences and success stories across Asia, we will provide valuable insights to land managers and user groups on establishing and overseeing sustainable trail networks.
- We will shed light on how mountain biking trails can be a catalyst for the sustainable economy within the sport, benefiting the bicycle industry.
- A dedicated session will foster dialogue between land managers, trail stakeholders, government officials and non-governmental organizations, emphasizing effective collaboration and management of sustainable trail systems in mountainous and forested areas.
- A comprehensive exploration of sustainable mountain biking trail management techniques.
Activities
- Engaging classroom workshops and sharing sessions covering various aspects of sustainable trail management.
- Participants will have hands-on experience building a section of trail, guided by seasoned professional trail builders.
- A guided trail ride led by a certified PMBIA instructor.

This workshop is tailored for forestry land/park managers, professionals in the bicycle industry, mountain biking enthusiasts, and members of trail-related non-profit organizations.
