As the launch race for this new BMX track at Tampines Bike Park,

a UCI category 5 BMX race and an invitational BSX 26" race is on card for the carnival.

 

The Juniors category race offers a preview of what's in store for Youth Olympics Games Singapore 2010,

while the BSX 26" MTB 4x race allows the crossover crowd a feel on what's like to race and negotiate jumps enmass in a race.

 

As the track is design and build by renowned UCI track builder, Tom Ritzenthaler, be prepared for the new age of BMX in Olympics, massive track on tiny 20 inch wheels!

 

Date : Sun 30th May 2010 (10 am - 4pm)

Venue : BMX Track, Tampines Bike Park (see race course map)

 

 

Participants for BMX race:

This race is a UCI Class 5 BMX event, participants must

 

  • produce a valid 2010 UCI license to race.
  • Participants must be 17-18 years of age (1992-1993)

 

Race registration packages are available for sign up via Dirtraction registration site.

International participants may sign up for Hotel/Transfer/Support packages, Contact us for package and info pack.

For Singapore based rider who needs UCI license for the race, please fill in and submit (to SACA) the following  SACA UCI License Registration Forms

 

 

Participants for Invitational BSX race:

 

  • This portion of the race will not be under UCI sanctioning, no UCI license is required for the 26" MTB 4x style race.
  • The race will be run upon a BSX time trial and into motos/heats round (3 rounds) where you will then qualify for the knockout rounds
  • As part of risk management and introduction of the track to the local riding scene, supervisory authority and organiser will require that rider racing the BSX race to have  prior participation in Dirtraction's Super D race in the past 3 years, the invitation will only be extend to non Super D racer on a case by case basis, do write to us.

 


 

 

General Information

Participants shall be deemed to have read and understood the UCI rules and regulations upon registering for the race.

While you should be physically fit and not be advised not to take part in our event, if you have any medical conditions that we should be aware of, pls write to us and we will inform our race doctor.

 

Team Tentage & Advertising Materials

  • Team tentage should only be placed in the designated area.
  • Display of any banners or advertising material should only be confined within each individual tentage.
  • Unauthorized distribution of promotional material paid or unpaid is not allowed.
  • Teams and riders are responsible for the cleaniness of the surrounding, please asked for waste bags from our crew.
